His photographs are in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; and Los Angeles County Museum of Art, as well as in many other public and private collections. He has published over a dozen books, including \u003ci\u003eHouse Hunting\u003c\/i\u003e (2001), \u003ci\u003eRoaming\u003c\/i\u003e (2004), and \u003ci\u003eExcerpts from Silver Meadows\u003c\/i\u003e (2013). He is an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts.\u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003eHalpern, Gregory:\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e - \u003cb\u003eGregory Halpern\u003c\/b\u003e received a BA in history and literature from Harvard University, and an MFA from California College of the Arts.
